AGRIBEX 2023 zit erop. De 72e editie die na de annulatie in 2021 omwille van Covid opnieuw plaatsvond in Brussels Expo, heeft voor de organisatoren de verwachtingen overtroffen. Zo klinkt het unisono. Fedagrim-voorzitter Johan Colpaert geeft aan dat de federatie met enige bezorgdheid begonnen was aan deze editie. “We kwamen uit een zeer moeilijke periode met de annulatie van de vorige beurs en hebben deze editie opgezet in voor de landbouw bijzonder onzekere tijden. Maar nu op de laatste dag kunnen we wel degelijk stellen dat onze ongerustheid niet geheel terecht was. AGRIBEX staat er en blijft er staan. De beurs heeft een belangrijke waarde en verdient haar plaats in het landschap. Het is ook duidelijk dat in tegenstelling tot grote publieksbeurzen, het landbouwsalon als vakbeurs voor de bezoeker en de exposant een must blijft. Wat wij vandaag vaststellen is dat AGRIBEX nog meer geprofessionaliseerd is. De kwaliteit van de bezoekers lag bijzonder hoog, net zoals de interesse. Of er nu echt verkopen volgen, dat zullen de volgende maanden uitwijzen.”

Tubize, 19 October 2023 - From 6 to 10 December, Brussels Expo will host the biennial fair for agriculture, livestock, garden and green spaces, AGRIBEX. The previous edition, planned in 2021, was cancelled at the last minute in the middle of the corona crisis. This time, fair organiser Fedagrim is hopeful that things will not be so dire this time. AGRIBEX is and will remain a fixture, building on traditions that have proved a success for years. So the 72nd edition scheduled for 2021 will take place in 2023. Right away, the organisation also wants to make a positive noise. The industry is in dire straits but AGRIBEX should still be a time to plan for the future.
