AURA | Kuhn

The autonomous self-driving feed mixer AURA combines the following functions: loading concentrated feed, unloading roughage, weighing, mixing, distributing, and pushing back feed. This feed mixer also has a reporting function. It offers livestock farmers a fully autonomous precision feeding solution "from silo to feeding trough."
Outdoor navigation is provided by RTK-GPS linked to odometry, and indoor navigation in the stables is provided by LIDAR technology. No specific modifications to the yard or buildings are required, as no guide rail (either above ground or buried) is needed. The solution is available for farms with 80 or more dairy cows.
