Cemos AutoKnife Condition | Claas

On field choppers, sharp chopping blades are essential for chopping quality. With CEMOS AUTO KNIFE CONDITION, CLAAS has developed an innovation that automates this process. This new feature uses reluctance sensors to continuously monitor the condition of the chopper blades. The sharpness of the chopping blades is measured constantly during operation. The driver sets the desired sharpness on the terminal and the system automatically signals when sharpening is necessary. This means that sharpening only takes place when there is actual wear. In addition, wear can be documented specifically for each harvested plot.
